Gold & Silver for Chase & Hunter in the Western Area Schools Championships

23rd November 2024

A huge well done to Chase and Hunter who competed in the BJA Western Area Schools Champions in Bideford on the 9th November. Chase won all his four fights to become the Western Area Schools Champion with some impressive throws. Hunter narrowly missed out on the gold to take the silver again with some great throws on the way to a closely contested final. Great effort boys!!

Well done to Chase and Hunter who had a great day at the National Independent Association of Independent Prep Schools Championships! Both won Gold medals with throws the cameras had trouble keeping up with! Students from Monkton Combe, also coached by Pete, attended and in total Bath came away with 5 Golds and 2 Bronzes!

Ippon in 5 Seconds!

Well done to Ralph who travelled up to Kidderminster this weekend for the Samurai Orange Belt and Under competition. Ralph got off to a great start, winning his first fight within five seconds with a beautiful ippon throw! He also won his next fight but had to retire injured in the third and so came away with a well deserved bronze medal.

Ethan & Tom Dan Grades
