A huge well done to Chase and Hunter who competed in the BJA Western Area Schools Champions in Bideford on the 9th November. Chase won all his four fights to become the Western Area Schools Champion with some impressive throws. Hunter narrowly missed out on the gold to take the silver again with some great throws on the way to a closely contested final. Great effort boys!!

Well done to both Chase and Hunter who took a huge step up in their second only BJA competition to compete in the West of England International Open. Chase fought excellently, narrowly missing out on a medal while Hunter made the final and came away with the Silver!

Well done to Chase and Hunter who had a great day at the National Independent Association of Independent Prep Schools Championships! Both won Gold medals with throws the cameras had trouble keeping up with! Students from Monkton Combe, also coached by Pete, attended and in total Bath came away with 5 Golds and 2 Bronzes!

Well done to Ralph who travelled up to Kidderminster this weekend for the Samurai Orange Belt and Under competition. Ralph got off to a great start, winning his first fight within five seconds with a beautiful ippon throw! He also won his next fight but had to retire injured in the third and so came away with a well deserved bronze medal.

Great fighting today from Chase and Hunter at only their second competition. This time it was a BJC event in Bristol with Chase winning Silver and Hunter coming away with Gold after producing the throw of the day – a huge Ippon Seoi Nage. Well done boys!!!

Ralph travelled to Wolverhampton to take part in a very competitive British Schools Midlands Championships. This was Ralphs first experience of competition judo and he put in a great performance, winning by Ippon throws all the way to the final!

A great effort from the boys who travelled to the Royal Marines Commandos Training Center, Exmouth! The event was in aid of the Royal Marines Charity and was run in a friendly but very competitive spirit with one weight category having players ranging from orange belt through to 4th Dan.
