Josh Medals in Western Area Open!!

Well done to Josh Richter who after an early defeat convincingly won his remaining 3 fights, combining Ippon throws, great ground work and contest awareness to take Bronze in the BJA Western Area Open! Competition was strong with top clubs from the west country and further afield well represented. Markos Constantinides, Ethan Hawtin & Ethan Foster all picked up valuable experience fighting at this high level of competition.

Well done to Jack, Oli & Markos who traveled down to Paignton for the BJA Western Area Closed. Jack had a tough pool fighting against opponents older than himself, older brother Oli won the Silver and Markos came away with a bronze! Well done to all 3!!

Club 61 – Green Belt and Under Competition

A big well done to all those who took part in the competition at High Wycombe this weekend. Jack Williams entered two competition, competing in the IAPS for boys (8-9years) on Saturday where he won the Silver medal before entering the Club 61 competition on Sunday and medaling again with a Bronze (U50Kg)! Bath Boys Center Stage at Glastonbury

Olivia Awarded Her Brown Belt

The summer grading of the British Judo Society saw over 40 young people promoted to higher grades. The highest grade was awarded to Olivia Lewis who produced many very good competitive techniques to win her brown belt.
